DevOpsDays is a self-organizing conference for practitioners that depends on sponsorships. We do not have vendor booths or sell product presentations. Sponsors have the opportunity to have short elevator pitches during the program and will get recognition on the website and social media before, during and after the event. Sponsors are encouraged to represent themselves by actively participating and engaging with the attendees as peers. Any attendee also has the opportunity to demo products/projects as part of an open space session.
Steel sponsors get dedicated table space where they can interact and share with those interested to come visit during breaks. All attendees are welcome to propose any subject they want during the openspaces, but this is not 'that kind of conference' and heavy marketing will probably work against you when trying to make a good impression on the attendees.
The best thing to do is send engineers to interact with the experts at DevOpsDays on their own terms.

As this is technical conference aimed at devops practitioners, developers, and systems administrators, we recommend that complementary sponsor tickets be used by sponsor-employed technical staff and recruiters, not salespeople. All sponsorfolk are welcome to attend talks and social events.
Please remember that devopsdays Pittsburgh is a volunteer-run organization; we do not have vendor staff.
Sponsors with table decorations, swag, signage, or other items that must be shipped, please contact the organizers approximately two weeks before the event to make arrangements for shipments.
Sponsors are permitted to enter at 07:30 to set up their booths each day.
On the last day, sponsors are expected to break down their booths by 17:00 and be out of Wm. Pitt Union by 18:00.
