DevOps in UK Government

Abstract:

This talk will focus on the strides taken within UK Government to change their approach to digital delivery and how the principles surrounding DevOps are being used to drive the digital transformation. The talk will focus on the changes on the ground as part of delivery and the challenges faced and how they were addressed as part of the transformation.

Gareth has been employed by Kainos for 7 years and is currently operating as a Solution Architect. For the past 2 years Gareth has been working within UK Government Departments in the delivery of programmes that aligns to their Digital by Default strategy. Gareth's focus has been in the field of Web Operations ensuring the delivery of robust, secure and scalable platforms for citizens to interact with Government.
